No, this isn't some sort of super-secret and very well hidden KOF character you've never heard of. This isn't a Green Flamed Shingo, this isn't the long lost Kuniharu Nikaido, and it isn't Rugal come back to life... again. Instead, it's the creator of KOF Forever's claim to fifteen seconds of pseudo-fame. After putting in many long, hard hours into the construction of Galactica Phantom, I decided to insert myself within my own creation and become a part of it and a part of KOF... sort of. Okay, maybe not at all. When all else fails, just think of this as a normal person being put in the place of a KOF character and the bio sheets and data tables that are a result of this wrong doing. The following is a list of my profile explanations and comparisons to KOF characters with similiar traits:
My full name is John Quang Tran Nguyen, though I've become known around the internet by the label of Puar. I know of no others to go by this online handle that I earned by having friends who were fans of the Dragon Ball vintage. For all of you who don't know, Puar, which may also be seen and spelled as being either Pool, Pooal, Pual, Puaru, or many other variants, is the purple, shape-shifting cat that has a more prominent role in the portion of the Dragon Ball Manga series that precedes the Z Cartoons that are aired in the states. One of my favorite colors is purple, I'm allergic to cats, and I whince every time I hear the American dubbing's attempt to pronounce, "Kamehameha." Although I don't appear in any editions of KOF, my favorite number is 10 and that's why it's plastered up there. The picture above is as reasonable of a representation of myself as I can manage. My hair is very black and my eyes are very brown. One person once told me my eyes were brown because I was filled up to there with sh... Well, I'll let you use your imagination on that one. I wore a black wristband on my right arm during my basketball days and now feel naked unless I have something on it. I once went a week in the Summer wearing my wristband just to have something there because I didn't have a watch or bracelet to use. Random and Inconsequential Miscellaneous Notes: That beige shirt was given to my by my Mom and I'm prone to rolling up my sleeves because of the Arizona heat, my black pants are personal favorites because charcoal doesn't show up on it easily and I'm an Art Student, white undershirts are my selection when it comes to t-shirt being used as undergarnments. I don't smile often. I'm a mutt when it comes to the martial arts. I've been taught a little bit of something from a lot of styles, but whether or not I remember it is another thing. Whatever style I may have developed has been hampered by a broken arm that I only retained 60% of all possible range of motion and function in. Because of this, my regular stance when unarmed is usually with that hand behind my back to prevent from further harm. I typically don't tell people my birthday. My usual response to the When's Your Birthday question is, "Once a year! Is your's, too...?" While rummaging through my KOF databases and files, I found out that I share the same birthdate as Whip of the Ikari Team, October 12. Going off on a tanget, October 12 is also Columbus Day and one of my favorite X-men comic book characters Rogue also shares the same birthdate as myself. My ethnicity is Chinese-Vietnamese, though I was raised as a South Vietnamese kid. I'm fluent in the Southern dialect of Vietnamese and have an elementary understanding of Chinese. I don't have a Vietnamese name, though my full name that reads John Quang Tran Nguyen is three-fourths Vietnamese. My Chinese name Ni Yao Hu means Tiny Tiger or the Littlest Tiger. I was born in the city of Westlake in Los Angeles County, California and have since moved to South Carolina and now I'm stuck in Arizona for at least another two years for college and the like. The KOF character who possesses a nationality almost akin to my own is Li Xiangfei, the American Born Chinese (ABC) member of the '99 Girls' Team. I don't know my blood type... I've never had my blood drawn from me of free will and I'm probably never going to donate any blood. I'm not that fond of needles and I try to stay away from them whenever possible. As far as I'm concerned, it's red when exposed to air and that's all I need to know... unless I get sick or something. Like the Orochi bosses Goenitz and Orochi, the world may never know my blood type, but, unlike them, I'm rather sure my blood isn't tainted by an evil eight headed dragon. I haven't measured myself in awhile, but last I checked I was 6'2", or 190 cm if you prefer it said that way. People have said that I've grown a smidge since then, but if I'm still that height then that makes me eye level with Seth of Benimaru's Team and the late Yashiro of the New Faces Team. If I've vaulted since then, we'll see I've grown an inch, that would put me at 6'3" or 192 cm. In this case, I will have boosted myself up to the ranks of the Ikari leader Heidern and the Special Team's Ryuji Yamazaki. I tend to fluctuate betwen 120 and 130 lbs regularly, but for the sake of listing someone, I'll take the heftier and be 130 lbs aka 60 kg. The closest people to my weight category are Yuri Sakazaki of the Girls and Art of Fighting Team, the now very dead Vice of the Yagami Team, and Whip who come in at 59 kg and 128 lbs. The next closest and nearest male contestant is Sie Kensou who's a good 61 kg and 131 lbs. My fast metabolism and a nasty genetic disease help to keep me thin. Bottom line: I need to gain more weight, period. With my spare time, I do a lot of work on my homepage, my outreach program to a handful of my friends who live afar. I try to keep up my journal entries on my site and also post up things that are of interest to me, such as KOF. That leads into another hobby of mine, being a 2-D fighting game guru. I specialize in console games mainly because I can man handle a controller but can't take on the task of using an arcade joystick worth a damn, except maybe for charge characters. With traits like these, I'd fit in fine with the Psycho Soldiers who house members Athena Asamiya and Bao that share these pastimes as well. Besides, people call me a Psycho regularly anyhow. I don't really have a particular type of food that I've set out as my favorite, but when forced to choose I would probably say Gummi candy is somewhere up there. Certain people know me by this token and I'm prone to randomly ask people, "Do you like Gummi Bears?" just for the fun of it. It's one of those little snacks I can just much on anytime. The New Faces Team's Chris doesn't seem to share my penchant for Gummi candy, so he'd probably hate me... It doesn't help that I enjoy patting people on the head, either. (; I like basketball! It was the only sport I really took head on while I was a kid and it eventually paid off. I played Varsity basketball during my 10th grade year in High School and I was offered a scholarship to University of Saint John in New Brunswick, New York, probably just to bump up their GPA but we can pretend it's because I used to be a timid sharpshooter for a brief time. All this was pre-broken arm though and I've become a considerably worst player ever since and have been further slowed by increasing asthmatic problems. At present, I'm futily trying to get my shot back and taking a hand at becoming a braver player as I am still very easily intimidated and my intimidation causes my play to suffer greatly. Surprisingly enough, only Terry Bogard of the Garou Densetsu Team is a huge basketball fan and Lucky Glauber, the basketball player from the USA Team, lists baseball as his favorite instead. My basketball number is also 10. My last two survey slots probably don't have any bearing in the KOF Universe. I appreciate anything that's been given to me by a member of my family or by a friend. It can be the crappiest thing in the world, but I'd still treasure it because it was given to me by someone I care about and it gives me warm and fuzzy feelings inside. I pity closed-minded people and hypocrites for their sheer stupidity. Hmmm... Looks like my fifteen seconds are up. If you've read all he way down, then good for you, and please do peruse around KOF Forever more. There're better things to look at, I assure you. Oh and remember... Ignore reality, there's nothing you can do about it.
