The USA Team is one of the more interesting entries in the Dream Match, probably because they've been absent for four years and have recieved the most upgrade of any team! They went from laughable in 1994 to formidable in 1998. Too bad they were once again disposed of and forgotten after 1998. Heavy D! and Lucky were widely popular during their 1998 run. A lot of us still mourn their loss...
Heavy D! | 94 | 98 |
Heavy D! trained since very young to be a professional boxer. He floats like a bird and stings like a mosquito. Heavy D! was a great prize fighter prospect, but was never given the chance to reguarly compete in the big leagues. Instead, he dedicated himself to fights in private boxing rings before retiting to the seclusion of random battle on his turf. D! joins the King of Fighters seeking better competition. (read bio)

Brian Battler | 94 | 98 |
Brian was a very powerful linebacker. His impressive physique allows him to literally plow through a defensive line and, of course, it's always his great pleasure to crush the opposing quarterback. This violent behavior brough Brian accusations of unnecessary roughness. Discouraged, Brian decides the sport of football has too many weaklings and leaves the field for the fighting arena.
