Geese Howard sat in his office, twirling around an envelope in his hand. He had called for his faithful right hand mand to discuss matters of the utmost importance. Billy Kane entered through the door and sat down in front of his boss. The King of Fighters had resurfaced and without the approval of Geese. This was a hefty no-no. Normally, the violator would be throroughly punished and eradicated, but Geese would let it slip by this once because there was something more at stake here than the King of Figthers, something that perked Geese's interest greatly. A newfound power that Billy was to investigate. To enter the new King of Fighters, Billy would need to recruit two new teammates. Billy's task was a simple one, find the best fighters, nab them, and drag them to the King of Fighters with him, and find out the specifics of this new power that Geese wanted. With not much loss time, the first would present himself to Billy. Eiji Kisaragi bid Billy to let him join in the King of Fighters as he had a quarrel to settle with the Sakazaki clan. This was not a problem for Billy, who was no stranger to wanting revenge. He also wanted to enter the King of Fighters to settle the score with the Bogard brothers. Billy agreed to let the Kisaragi ninja join him and then went out in search a young man who Geese had directed him to, one Iori Yagami. Billy hunted him down in the back recesses of a far off land and presented his offer to allow Iori in joining him in the King of Fighters. This tournament was one that Iori was not unfamiliar with. An old rival of his would also be entering. Iori would comply only if this rival of his, Kyo Kusanagi, was left for him and him alone. A consensus was reach and the trio came together to enter the King of Fighters as the new force to be reckoned with, a band of misfits joined together by only the command bond of a drive to accomplish their personal vendettas.
