Athena is the re-incarnation of the Greek goddess by the same name. However she acts just like a normal girl, going to school, shopping, and indulging in her love of music. She originally joined the King of Fighters tournament sensing an evil aura surrounding the tournament, but since then has also entered to publicize her singing career. Kensou is not a natural psychic, instead he awakened his powers through vigorous training.
